Searching for a Production Manager to join their team in Santa Fe Springs.

This is a direct hire opportunity with great pay, benefits, and possible bonuses.

The ideal candidate must provide strong operational leadership and build cohesive Production, Sanitation, Warehousing, Logistic and Order picking / sorting teams that will deliver operational results for the benefit of the company and the employees.

Production Manager will direct, develop, and oversee assigned Production and Warehousing Departments by promoting cost effective and reliable operational processes related to labor scheduling and cost control; material usage efficiency, personnel safety, product quality, regulatory preparedness, waste control and inventory management and control.

Position is responsible for the management of all operational functions listed above to achieve Company’s Safety, Customer Service levels, Quality Standards and Profitability goals. On a daily basis and with effective methods of scheduling and LEAN manufacturing practices, will lead, encourage, evaluate, recognize and discipline all direct and indirect team members. Production Manager and his team of Supervisors, Warehouse, Line Leaders, Sanitation and Production Team Members are to produce quality products based on sales demand and within
budgeted labor standards.

Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
* Equivalent Experience related to position

Training & Experience
* Over 6 years of food operation leadership with increasing responsibility and demonstrated success, including a high proficiency in team building.

Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements
* HACCP Certification is desired and prior FDA and USDA food manufacturing experience a must.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Ability to read and communicate verbally in English required.
* Ability to communicate verbally in Spanish helpful.
* Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Power Point and various related software.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines within specified time constraints in a changing and fast paced work environment by being proactive and with a positive attitude and able to work under pressure.
* Strong interpersonal skills to promote teamwork and positive interaction with clients, vendors, and other team members at all levels.
* Excellent communication skills and able to effectively communicate through presentation both orally and written words.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with extreme professionalism
* Ability to learn and apply departmental or Company policies, procedures and rules.
* Ability to learn and apply Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations pertaining to human resources.
