Primary: The primary responsibility of the Sales Admin is to support the external sales team to ensure there is a smooth flow of communication and activity in a variety of administrative functions. In addition, there will be time that the Sales Admin position support the reception desk. General clerical duties and assisting others will be included.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with bid process: Reviewing bid invitations. Obtain copy of plans, specs, addendums. Contact bidders list and plan holders list to confirm if they are bidding. Send out proposals to bidding companies.

Assist with front desk support: Back-up for reception desk, including phone support, shipping support and sales support.Assist on all aspects of identifying and vetting potential projects.

Assist with web lead distribution.Assist with proactive/reactive lead research.

Assist Sales Team in all aspects of company as needed.

Assist with sales meeting preparation.

Ability to provide sales support to customers, sales staff and vendors and serve as liaison regarding customer projects and customer service issues.

Ability to answer incoming phone calls and direct to the appropriate person.

Ability to utilize company specific CRM and bid programs and related systems.

Ability to foster close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders, sales team and other senior executives.

Maintain fabric sample inventory including but not limited to ordering and stocking the inventory.

General administrative duties.

Other duties may be assigned and/or changed.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED required.

Associates degree preferred.

Ability to learn quickly and become proficient in products and standard operating procedures.

Must maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills including problem solving.

Must be accurate and efficient.

Must be proficient in MS Office applications MS Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.

Working knowledge of Dynamics or a comparable CRM a plus.

Must have the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy, team environment.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and last minute requests.
