Eastridge is looking for a temporary Call Center Operator for our department at our corporate office in Buena Park, California. This position will be a temporary assignment for up to 6 months and will play a key role in handling inbound call orders for all of Eastridge's financial products and services. As a Call Center Operator, you will report directly to the Sr. Supervisor and primarily be responsible for both answering Eastridge product inquiries and entering customers information in our system accurately. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish to support our business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming calls and provide excellent customer service
  • Handle a high volume of calls with short duration periods
  • Answer customers inquiries and questions professionally
  • Process transactions over the phone for products and services
  • Effectively handle phone calls when putting calls on hold, transferring or being disconnected
  • Accurately enter customers information in our proprietary system
  • Keep up-to-date with products, services and policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested


  • High School diploma or General Education Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service in a call center environment
  • Possess experience dealing high volume of incoming calls
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute in English and Spanish
  • The key characteristics this individual must possess are excellent phone etiquette, attentions to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well with others, multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Availability to work 12pm-9pm, 5 days per week including weekends OR Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm with potential OT on the weekends as needed

Working Conditions

  • Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment
  • Overtime required as needed

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit for extended periods
