Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties maybe assigned as needed

• Receives, audits and counts incoming receipts.

• Conduct weekly Cycle counts of inventory.

• Logs receipts via computer system(s).

• Expedites line down parts to the appropriate work centers.

• Coordinates with Work Cells to resolve discrepant receipts.

• Files documentation in accordance with department procedures.

• Coordinates activities related to: sales order release, shipment consolidation, ship/confirm, CKM sales order process, and back order process.

• Processes off line shipments via online shipment tracking system.

• Processes procurement sales orders for shipment to suppliers and customers.


Knowledge base may require AS or related degree. Requires minimum of four (4) years of experience; may have fewer years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.

• Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.

• Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, and electronic e-mail systems.
