A stable and established distributor is looking to add a Portfolio Manager to support the brand marketing for their respective portfolio. Any exposure to marketing is a plus, ability to work with numbers, advanced Excel skills, along with your 4-year degree is what’s needed to land this opportunity.

You will be the person who will execute pricing adjustments and review the performance of certain products. You will be the person in charge of updating pricing lists, helping the team confirm additional costs and freight rates, as well as be the liaison between the sales people and the brand marketing department. There will be a lot of reporting delivered to sales people and other departments so excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Main responsibilities for the Portfolio Manager:

  • Tracks brand performance and item status including pricing, transportation costs, and shipment times/availability
  • Ensures that pricing contracts are up to date and accurate
  • Inspect invoices to ensure pricing and costs match contracts
  • Strong Excel to analyze pricing sheets for over 10,000 line items
  • Understand reporting to help report on trends and spending
  • Communicates discrepancies with suppliers and vendors
  • Special projects as they arise
